Naples. Yesterday afternoon, the agents of the Sorrento police station, during the territory control service, in transit in Corso Italia in Sant'Agnello were stopped by the manager of a supermarket who said that, shortly before, a man had stolen several foodstuffs and ran away without paying.
The policemen, after viewing the video surveillance images of the store, they tracked down the suspect not far from the business and, once stopped, found him in possession of 4 bottles of liquor, 12 packs of tuna, 12 packs of chocolates and 4 jars of cream for a total value of 350 euros.
Therefore, a 24-year-old Georgian with police records, including specific ones, irregular on the national territory, was taken into custody arrest for aggravated theft; finally, the goods were returned to the merchant.
