2 Brothers Arrested for Attempted Murder and Abuse in Naples

The State Police gave execution of an order implementing the precautionary measure of detention in prison issued by the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Court of Naples, Office 7, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples – IV Investigation Section, against two brothers aged 27 and 37 seriously suspected of the crime of attempted double homicide committed in the month of February against MC and MG, with the aggravating circumstance of having committed the crime in the presence of a minor under the age of eighteen; one of them he is seriously suspected including crimes of mistreatment and personal injury to the detriment of the cohabiting partner.

The issuing of the restrictive measure stems from the additional investigations carried out following the arrest of his older brother who was caught almost red-handed in the crime of attempted double homicide following a very violent family argument; following the arrest, his partner had filed a complaint against her ex companion for mistreatment and personal injury; further investigations, carried out by the Naples Flying Squad and coordinated by the Investigation Section IV "Gender violence and protection of the weaker sections of the population", have allowed us to reconstruct a serious circumstantial framework against the arrested person also for the crimes of mistreatment and aggravated personal injury.

The extreme gravity of the conduct and the consequences, the social alarm it raises, having been perpetrated between two related family units, induced the Preliminary Investigation Judge to accept the request of the Public Prosecutor, considering the danger of repetition of crimes of the same type to be concrete and very current, also taking into account the personality of the suspects.
