Vizzolo Predabissi: 64-year-old arrested by police for drug possession. A blank pistol identical to the one he was issued was found.

The State Police arrested a 64 year old Italian, already known for crimes against property, accused of possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances.

The agents of the Maecenas police station, engaged in targeted services to combat drug dealing, had identified an apartment in Vizzolo Predabissi (MI) as a possible place of concealment of a weapon and of illicit activities.

The suspicious behavior and the entrance from the balcony

In the afternoon of Wednesday 3 December, two policemen knocked on the apartment door but received no response.

Just at that moment, they noticed the sudden turning off of the interior lights, a signal that made the operators suspicious.

Meanwhile, officers positioned on the rear side of the building saw the 64-year-old man moving around the kitchen with his cell phone flashlight onNoticing the balcony door half-open, the police officers identified themselves and entered the house to proceed with the search.

The seizure: cocaine, marijuana and a blank pistol

Inside the kitchen the officers found: a dog repellant gun, aesthetically identical to the weapons supplied to the police; an envelope with 37 grams of cocaine; 150 euros in cash, probable proceeds from drug dealing.

The subsequent search of the apartment also allowed the following to be found: 620 grams of marijuana, divided into three plastic bags.

All the material was seized, while the 64-year-old was arrested and made available to the Judicial Authority.
