La Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena opened its doors to the IIHF Under-20 World Championship, Group B, Division I, a week of great hockey that kicked off on Monday, December 8th and will continue until Sunday, December 14th, 2025. Milano It thus becomes the center of international hockey, awaiting the hosting of the Winter Olympics starting next February.

A week of challenges between six growing nations

The tournament features six youth teams ready to compete for a place in the higher category: Italy, Hungary, Japan, Estonia, Poland e Lithuania. The young ice promises are livening up the modern arena of rho with high intensity matches, characterised by pace, physicality and technique, offering the public a taste of the future of world hockey.

The setting of the event is the brand new Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena, located within the Rho exhibition center. The competition also offers a fundamental goal: the team that finishes in first place will gain promotion to First Division Group A, while the last placed team will be relegated to Second Division Group AA balance that makes every match decisive and that increases the tension as we get closer to the final day on Sunday 14 December. Each match of the World Cup is played on the track of Milano The Rho Ice Hockey Arena, transformed for the occasion into a true theater of emotion, offers Italian fans the opportunity to support the national team up close, experiencing an international event in a state-of-the-art facility and immersed in a unique atmosphere.
