The police officers, who intervened promptly to block the car with the rear windows darkened, they discovered that the suspect's wife and little son were sitting in the back seat. The suspect was found in possession of the 5 euro note and, in the glove compartment near the gear shift, a piece of white chalk and a black eraser used to create scratches on the car and carry out fraud.

The man was arrested for the fraud and the police took care of the tearful and shaking 84-year-old, calling an ambulance to check his basic parameters. Once he had recovered his strength and refused transportation, the pensioner filed a complaint and recovered his stolen goods.
