Kitten rescued on overpass Milano-Venice

A kitten was saved by the Fire Brigade and Enpa on the A4 overpass Milano-Venice.

The alarm had been raised by some residents of the buildings overlooking the stretch of the motorway overpass Milano Venice, who had seen from their balconies a kitten that, strangely, was wandering on the ground next to the noise barrier that overlooks the buildings. “From the movements of the cat, told by the reporters, it seemed that he was no longer able to go back towards the downhill part of the overpass, which would have taken him towards an abandoned house from which he had probably arrived” declared the ENPA rescuer.

“In that stretch of the ring road there are gaps between the noise barriers that lead to the road that is travelled at high speed before the entrance to the Milano Venice. To guarantee the safety of the kitten, we decided not to attempt to capture it but to place a trap cage given the large space we still had available. Less than an hour after positioning it, the same people who had reported the presence of the kitten kitten in danger, they called us back to tell us that the kitten had finally entered the cage. We were thus able to go and recover it with the support of a fire brigade ladder truck! The kitten had been in that spot for a few days and started to make itself felt when it probably couldn't get food anymore. So the smell of the food placed inside the trap cage immediately attracted him. Once he arrived at the Enpa clinic he was visited by the vets and in fact he was found exhausted and wasted. He is now well and has been transferred to the municipal cattery awaiting adoption
