For the first time a Milano Petrolio, a colorful story, is on stage
After the suspension due to the pandemic, here is the text by Beatrice Gattai, finalist for the Hystrio award
After almost two years of suspension due to the pandemic, OIL. Una Storia A Colori – debut writing show for Beatrice Gattai, directed by Alessio Di Clemente – finally returns to the stage and for the first time ever in Milano, at the fACTORy32 theatre. On stage, Beatrice Gattai, Alessio Di Clemente and Francesco Centorame (already an interpreter on the small and big screen of the cult series SKAM Italia and of the film Gli Anni Più Belli by Gabriele Muccino) will play the three main characters of the text, a finalist in the 27th edition of the Hystrio Prize. Three human beings who carry with them as many existences, closely linked to three much-discussed moral questions of our present: do disabled people have the right to a figure for sexual assistance? Is renting a womb an ethically correct choice? Should prostitution be legalized? Una Storia a Colori tells three stories of change, composing a love story that speaks above all of evolution. It is an intense fragment of life that suggests what can happen to a human being when he crosses the "line of fire", in those narrow passages of existence that can destroy him in an instant or lead him to evolve. A woman deprived of affection, a man struggling with the closing credits of his relationship, a boy in search of the normality of his desire while clashing and provoking each other, tell a story that holds beauty. Because in the end, behind the hill of human integrity, the sun always shines.
