Bicocca Village, timeless connections between generations.

Bicocca Village launches “Intergenerational Connections”, an innovative project designed to foster encounters and dialogue between the Silver Generation and Gen Z.

The initiative aims to create moments of sharing and cultural exchange between people of different age groups, thanks to a series of events and activities also carried out in collaboration with the commercial establishments of the Center designed to enhance, in particular, the contribution that Generation Z can offer to today's society.

The initiative kicked off in the name of art and reflection on December 17 with the screening of the film “Visage Villages”, accompanied by an introduction and a short workshop by Professor Emanuela Mancino, professor of Philosophy of Education at the Department of Human Sciences for Education “R. Massa”. A moment of reflection dedicated to the dialogue between the Silver Generation and GenZ, which offered valuable insights on issues of memory, identity and sharing between generations.

The project will continue with other engaging and innovative events:

• February 13, 2025: motor activity master class followed by a fun experience at the Hollywood Kart go-kart track, located inside the Bicocca Village. An opportunity to test your motor skills and have fun together, overcoming generational barriers with team spirit, collaboration and friendly competition.
• March 22, 2025: an evening of live music in collaboration with Radio Liscio, featuring Michael Capuano, one of the most interesting and complete artists of contemporary dance music. With his band, Capuano will offer a show that will range between eras and musical genres, proposing traditional melodies, covers of great Italian hits and new contemporary sounds. An unmissable event for those who love to dance and for those who want to enjoy excellent live music.

The complete program of the project, which will develop over the next three months, promises to be rich and varied: in addition to the two events already confirmed, numerous other surprises and meeting opportunities are planned, designed to involve people of all age groups.

Workshops on topics such as sustainability, digital culture and communication will alternate with moments of pure entertainment in which the energy, creativity and innovative approach of Gen Z will merge with the precious and rich baggage of experience of the Silver Generation, uniting different but complementary experiences and visions of the world.
