Bicocca Village and Freewings together for women: free sanitary towels from March 8th.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Bicocca Village Entertainment Center, in collaboration with the start up Freewings, is launching a special initiative to raise awareness and support women. Starting from March 8th, and for the entire month, there will be dispensers of free sanitary pads inside the Center (while stocks last). A concrete gesture to support the fight against the so-called "period poverty", the economic difficulty in purchasing menstrual aids by guaranteeing all women access. to basic necessities.

This initiative is part of a path already started by Bicocca Village for the support and empowerment of women. Last year, in fact, the Center officially became the first “Punto Viola” Shopping Center at a national level, joining the project promoted by the DonnexStrada association to offer support and protection to women in dangerous situations.

Bicocca Village's commitment demonstrates a growing sensitivity towards social and gender issues, transforming the Center into a point of reference for initiatives of high value for the community.

Giuseppe Tilone, Shopping Center manager of the Center, said: “Bicocca Village once again establishes itself not only as a place for shopping and entertainment, but also as a point of reference for social and cultural initiatives in support of women and the local community.

The event from March 8 will be an opportunity to raise public awareness on a topic that is still little discussed and to promote a culture of support and respect".
