Furniture expo.Milano 2025: Drafting Futures Returns with Talks and Roundtables

After the success of last year, the 2025 edition of the Talks and Round Tables returns with a rich cultural programme. Again under the title "Drafting Futures. Conversations about Next Perspectives" (hall 14), the program, edited by Annalisa Rosso, Editorial Director & Cultural Events Advisor of the Salon, focuses on the transmission of knowledge and experiences to prompt a reflection on the opportunities and responsibilities we have today, towards a tomorrow that is already present. Il Furniture expo.Milano, as well as being the most important moment for the furniture sector business, Is also a indispensable cultural reference, a witness to how direct encounters and the exchange of points of view are an opportunity for growth with virtuous transversal consequences.

The new program, split in two two different formats of Talks (in the morning) and Round Tables (in the afternoon), will host some of the most interesting personalities in international design. To open the proceedings, Valeria Segovia (9 April), Principal, Design Director of Gensler in London, the world's largest architecture firm by revenue and number of architects with clients in over 100 countries – recognized as a talented architect, since the very beginning committed to reducing environmental impact and improving the well-being of the communities in which it operates. The architect will follow later Bjarke Ingels, (April 10), Founder and Creative Partner of Bjarke Ingels Group, which will invite us to reflect on how materiality, technology and human interaction can redefine the future of urbanism.

The afternoon meetings of the Round Tables will beInstead, dedicated to comparisons between authoritative voices on crucial sectors, today, for design and architecture and they will have as title The Business of Design: Global Perspectives on Trade, E-Commerce, and Distribution (April 10) and The Business of Hospitality: Where Design Meets Functionality (April 11).
