MilanoMajor anti-youth crime operation: 116 arrests, drugs and weapons seized

La State Police concluded ahigh impact operation in all Italian provinces, started on August 22nd and aimed at combating youth crime and the phenomena of deviance and discomfort that have been recorded in recent months serious criminal episodes by individuals or small groups.

The activity at Milano was performed by the agents of the Flying Squad, as well as by the policemen of theGeneral Prevention and Public Relief Office and Milan's Sectional and Detached Police Stations, through a series of judicial police operations aimed at preventing and suppressing youth crime in the city's central and peripheral areas. Following these activities:

  • 111 adults arrested (18-28 years old, of which 72 are foreigners)

  • 59 adults reported (of which 35 foreigners)

  • 5 minors arrested (of which 3 foreigners)

  • 9 minors reported (of which 6 foreigners)

  • identified 3.163 people (349 minors)

  • 150 vehicles checked

  • performed numerous searches with the seizure of:

    • 120 grams of cocaine

    • 22 kg of cannabinoids

    • 20 grams of heroin

    • 27 knives, blank guns, machetes, pepper spray

    • gold necklaces, telephones, glasses, precision scales

    • almost 130 thousand euros in cash

  • 21 administrative sanctions imposed.

In particular, it is worth mentioning the arrest by judicial police against a citizen irregular Algerian who the August 30, 2025 ha a lady was robbed in 1938, pushing her to the ground and snatching a gold necklace from her. The young man was tracked down on September 4th in Viale Brianza by the Flying Squad personnel, found in possession of a pepper spray can and also reported pursuant to theart. 699 cp.

As regards the drug dealing, with particular attention to the spread among the youngest, the Flying Squad has arrested two Italians (born in '87 and '92) and seized:

  • 16 kg of marijuana

  • 13 kg of hashish

  • 1.100 e-cigarettes with cannabis oil

  • hallucinogenic mushrooms

  • 30 thousand euros in cash
