«The Cinque Terre National Park will collaborate and contribute with its presence at Vinitaly in the Liguria Region stand - Said Lorenzo Viviani, President of the Cinque Terre National Park - The Park will collaborate and contribute with its presence at Vinitaly in the Liguria Region stand: a way to enhance our agricultural production and introduce our winemakers, who live and work in a special territory. Our presence is functional to transmitting a narrative that is intrinsic to the DNA of the Cinque Terre: the Park protects an anthropic landscape, based on agricultural work, whose spirit is represented by our wine and our winemakers, by those who physically, together with our maintenance workers, maintain that unique landscape in the world, the terraced landscape, a context that is also very rich in biodiversity. The National Park is naturally mainly committed to environmental protection, but it must also protect the work of our farmers. It is therefore an honor to be present at Vinitaly to introduce a special wine, which comes from a very particular territory between land and sea, and to tell the story of a park where the work of man is the basis of everything.".
«Over the centuries, Ligurian producers have settled on ancient vines and traditional production techniques: what was once a point of weakness has now become a point of strength. - Said Marco Rezzano, President of the Regional Wine Shop of Liguria - also at Vinitaly we will try as a regional wine shop to present and tell these specificities with dedicated insights, together with the producers and alongside the chamber system as has happened in all these years within the 'Piazza Liguria'. The whole territory will be represented with important numbers, we will almost reach 100 labels. We will also propose a questionnaire to visitors to understand their perception of Ligurian wine: the results will be used to fine-tune future promotional strategies».
