The Liguria Region has allocated 1 million euro for the removal of architectural barriers in private buildings, offering concrete support to citizens with disabilities. L'Councillor Marco Scajola invites the Municipalities to promote the initiative and to simplify the procedures to guarantee faster access to the funds. Applications must be submitted to the Municipalities by October.
Amounts to one million euros the economic availability of the Liguria Region for the removal of architectural barriers in private buildingsHe announced it today, in a shared meeting with Anci, administrators and the Regional Council on Disability, the regional councilor for Building and Housing Policies Marco Scajola. THE'the aim of the meeting was to illustrate and publicise as much as possible this important opportunity that can provide concrete support to many Ligurian citizens.
"We have these resources available, the Liguria Region's will is to make the most of them to give help to citizens with disabilities without leaving anyone behind. – declares theregional councilor Scajola -. To do this, we need the support of the Municipalities, which, with today's meeting, we wanted to raise awareness so that they promote this opportunity on the territory. At the same time, we are working to simplify the procedures as much as possible, in short, we are at the complete disposal of the Municipalities. I am convinced that by working synergistically, we can concretely support those who need it most".
It should be noted that citizens or condominium administrators can submit their applications to the Municipalities, which in turn must forward them to the Liguria Region to receive funding. Requests must be sent by October.
