In Liguria, the call for scholarships for high schools is open: the aim is to support young people with the right to study
Starting February 3, 2025, high school students in Liguria will be able to access the regional call for scholarships 2024/2025. With a ministerial allocation of over 900 thousand euros, the measure aims to support families in purchasing textbooks, transportation and cultural goods, contributing to the right to education and combating school dropout.
The Liguria Region's call for scholarships opens on Monday 3 February – vouchers intended for students enrolled in high schools in the 2024/2025 school year, aimed at support the purchase of textbooks, mobility and transport solutions and access to cultural goods and servicesThe ministerial allocation foreseen for Liguria is 907mila euros.
"Last year, thanks to the distribution of resources decided by the Liguria Region, the unit value of the scholarship reached 316 euros for each student, guaranteeing concrete help to over three thousand families.and – explains theregional councilor for schools Simona Ferro. - The measure, which has as its primary objective the fight against school dropout, is accompanied by a series of regional provisions to guarantee the right to education for thousands of Ligurian children, such as the contributions intended for students of public and private middle and high schools, and university scholarships.".
The Region has defined the same criteria as the previous school year for the provision of the benefit: the minimum amount of the scholarship is 150 euros, while the maximum ISEE limit is 15.748,78 euros. If the students included in the ranking are all beneficiaries of the minimum amount of the scholarship, the value of each scholarship will be re-proportioned, in equal measure, up to a maximum of 500 euros.
Receiving and managing applications, with the formulation of the relative ranking, is entrusted to Aliseo, the Ligurian Agency for students and orientation. The announcement has already been communicated by the Liguria Region to the schools for transmission to the students and is available on the websites www.regione.liguria.it e www.aliseo.liguria.it. The application is exclusively online and must be completed by connecting to the Aliseo website www.aliseo.liguria.it starting from Monday 3 February and no later than 12 noon on Monday 24 March 2025.
