The public notice of the Liguria Region, in collaboration with the Regional School Office and ACES Italy, intended for all secondary schools for the selection of the best video on the topic “Sport in Liguria: opportunities, values ​​and emotions in the practice of physical activity in the Ligurian territory”.

The competition is the first initiative aimed at schools within the framework of “Liguria European Region of Sport 2025”, the prestigious recognition awarded to the territory by ACES Europe.

Interested institutions can submit an application on Liguria Region online deskThe video, of a maximum duration of four minutes, must have as its subject the educational, social and emotional role of sport practiced in the Ligurian territory, also highlighting the countless psychophysical benefits.

The product presented must also take into account the peculiarities of the Region, its spaces and its ability to lend itself to the practice of physical exercise both indoor is outdoor. Each participating institute may submit only one video, in “mp4” and of original and exclusive production, which however must not contain the official logo “Liguria European Region of Sport 2025”, whose inclusion will be granted only to the winning video and to others selected subsequently.

"One of our goals is certainly to involve the youngest citizens in this important year for Ligurian sports - explains the regional councilor for Sport Simona Ferro -. Thanks to the competition, our students can test their imagination and creativity in the production of a video that promotes at the same time the beauty of our territory and the values ​​of sport, understood as a basic element for an active lifestyle and a powerful tool for education and social inclusion".

The winning school will be awarded a prize of 2 thousand euros by ACES Cinema, agreed with the Liguria Region through ACES Italia, to be used for fun-sport activities. The ranking, with the identification of the video that won the selection, will be drawn up following preliminary assessment operated by a special commission.

The Liguria Region also reserves the right to propose one or more videos, among those presented, to the selections of the International Video Aces Awards 2025.

"The stipulation of a specific agreement between the Liguria Region, the Regional School Office and ACES Italia - continues Ferro - has the objective of structuring and supporting the initiative aimed at schools. The public notice, in fact, although represented by a regional initiative, will be appropriately disseminated through the institutional channels of the USR for widespread awareness of the schools, while ACES Italia will make available, through the agreement that binds it to ACES Cinema, the prize for the winning video".
