Call for proposals from the Liguria Region to support dental care for minors in financial difficulty.

Contributions for dental prevention and care projects for minors in socioeconomic distress: the 65 thousand euro call is underway.

GenoVa – Green light from the Department of Social Policies for theprovision of contributions dedicated to dental prevention and care projects: the measures are aimed at minors in conditions of socioeconomic hardship followed by social services and/or subjected to judicial protection measures with placement in a residential facility or foster care for which access to this type of services and care is more burdensome.
“With this contribution equal to 65 thousand euros, 15 thousand euros more than in 2024, the Liguria Region intends to give concrete help to children and young people in socio-economic difficulty who have no way of taking care of their oral health – explains the Councilor for Social Policies and the Third Sector of the Liguria Region –. Dental care is essential especially for the little ones and this is why we wanted to further increase the contribution compared to last year”.
Entities and associations can participate in the call, called to propose projects designed to improve the dental health of minors in collaboration with the network of local services, schools and with the voluntary support of professional dentists and dental technicians.
