Liguria Region Call: Funds for the associated management of municipal services

The Liguria Region allocates 100.000 € to encourage the joint management of municipal services, with a call for tenders addressed to unions of municipalities and local authorities that enter into agreements.'initiative aims to improve the efficiency of services, especially in mountain and inland areas, by supporting general administration, social services for minors and local summer police. Applications can be submitted online by April 30, 2025.

La Liguria Region confirms its commitment to municipalities, making €100.000 available to support the joint management of municipal servicesThe regional call, approved by the local authorities and elections sector, is intended for unions of municipalities and municipalities that enter into agreements for the shared management of fundamental services in implementation of regional law 16/2022.
"The aim of this measure – says the Vice President of the Liguria Region with responsibility for local authorities, Alessandro Piana - is to encourage collaboration between small municipalities to improve the efficiency and quality of public services, especially in mountainous areas and inland areas. Joint management allows for optimizing resources and ensuring essential services to citizens more effectively".

The resources available for the year 2025 will be used to support the geassociated management of at least one of the following services: general administration, social services for children and minors and local police during the summer period. The Applications for contributions can be submitted until 30 April 2025 via the Liguria Region's online platformThe maximum contribution that can be awarded for each agreement is €15.000, with amounts distributed based on the scores obtained.
