Liguria launches a new €2,2 million tender for renewable energy systems in local public assets.

From November 27th to December 12th, the second edition of the regional call for proposals for municipalities, provinces, and metropolitan cities to improve the energy performance of public buildings will be open. Grants of up to 100% will be available for municipalities in inland areas.

The commitment of the Liguria region to promote the ecological transition and the diffusion of renewable energy systems. The Regional Council approved the new call for proposals for improving the energy performance of local public assets, financed through the ERDF Regional Programme 2021-2027, having a overall financial endowment of approximately 2,2 million eurosThe tender will be active from November 27 to December 12, 2025 (with technical suspension from November 4th for platform update) and will be accessible through the Filse “Online Calls” system, the Ligurian Finance Act for economic development.

Who can participate and how much can be obtained

They can apply:

  • la Metropolitan City of Genoa,

  • le Provinces of Imperia, La Spezia, and Savona,

  • and Municipalities with a population of up to 40.000 inhabitants.

- eligible interventions must include:

  • un minimum investment of 100.000 euros,

  • a installed power equal to at least 100 kW from renewable sources.

THEregional incentive consists of a non-repayable contribution equal to 70% of the expenses incurred, which can arrive:

  • at 80% for Municipalities with fewer than 2.000 inhabitants,

  • up to 100% for Municipalities of the eight recognized Internal Areas:

    • Antola and Tigullio Valleys,

    • Beigua Sol,

    • Vara Valley,

    • Arroscia Valley,

    • Imperia,

    • Fontanabuona Valley,

    • Bormida Ligure,

    • Scrivia Valley.

A measure that strengthens the regional energy strategy

"This is the second edition of the call, which had already recorded in May 17 participating administrations and requests for a total amount of 5,9 million euroWith this new window, the total resources allocated to public bodies for energy production from renewable sources reach the 8 million euros”, they explain Paolo Ripamonti, regional councillor for Energy, and Alessio Piana, councilor responsible for Economic Development.

“This call – they add – is part of a broader strategy that also involves the business world. In November, in fact, a 10 million euro measure to co-finance investments in economic activities who intend to install renewable energy plants in their companies".
