The Liguria Region is making nearly €3,2 million available to support families and students in state and private schools with contributions for enrollment, attendance, and textbooks.

Until Monday, December 1, 2025 le Ligurian families will be able to apply to access the regional calls for applications for students of state and private schoolsThe Liguria Region has allocated almost 3,2 million to finance two types of scholarships:

Contributions towards school enrollment and attendance costs supported by families in the 2024/2025 school year for schools of all levels.

Contributions for the purchase of textbooks, relating to the 2025/2026 school year, intended for middle and high school students.
"This year too, we are on the front lines to protect and strengthen the right to education for all Ligurian students. – declares the regional councilor for schools, Simona Ferro –. We are continuing a virtuous path that, only last year, allowed us to concretely support 1.813 families for school enrollment and attendance costs, with a total investment of over 1,1 million euro, and to provide more than 10 thousand scholarships for the purchase of textbooks.
These measures are the result of a far-sighted political vision: thanks to the new criteria introduced by the Liguria Region for awarding scholarships, the pool of beneficiaries has expanded significantly.”
Compared to ten years ago:

The winners of the scholarships for registration and attendance costs they grew up of 50%.

The beneficiaries of the scholarships for textbooks recorded an increase of 25%.
Each individual scholarship includes:

Elementary school: maximum 600 euro
-
Middle school: maximum 800 euro
-
High school: maximum 1.100 euro
If we add to these figures the possible reimbursement for the purchase of textbooks, the maximum contribution can reach 1.300 euros.
