Carabinieri officers are in action between Trieste and Udine: a drug dealing ring is dismantled and a 25-year-old man is arrested for robbery.

I soldiers of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Trieste, at the end of one prolonged investigative activity coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Chiara De Grassi, they arrested four Albanian citizens, among which two brothers residents in the city.
The investigations have allowed us to reconstruct a structured cocaine dealing activity intended for a large number of consumers in Trieste.

The group operated in competition, with distinct roles: the two brothers took care of collect orders e prepare the doses, while the other two accomplices managed the home delivery, carried out via rental car to evade controls and make investigative activity more complex.

The operation of the Carabinieri led to the seizure of a kilo of cocaine, part of which is already divided and ready for sale, in addition to 2.000 euros in cash and material used for packaging the doses. Investigators have documented dozens of transfers and rebuilt a well-established modus operandi on the territory, with a stable network of customers to whom they were sold small quantities to maximize profit.

Among the elements that emerged, there was also the possibility for some buyers to purchase "on credit”, with payments sometimes even made via Bank transferPart of the proceeds was used to purchase new drugs, while other sums were sent to Albania. The soundness of the investigation was confirmed by the issuance of a precautionary custody order by the Court of Trieste, which fully accepted the findings gathered by the Carabinieri.

At the same time, in Udine the Carabinieri of the local station they identified and traced a 25 year old homeless man, held responsible for a rapina occurred the November 24 last attack on a citizen of Udine. The victim had been approached on the doorstep of his home for a request for money; upon refusal, the young man entered the house and stole the wallet and, to ensure his escape, he had bit the hand man.

Thanks to the collection of the complaint, the listening of the witnesses and the analysis of the video surveillance cameras, private and citizen, the Carabinieri managed to trace the alleged author, already known to the police.
