Forlì: Carabinieri report 15 young people, including 3 minors, presumed responsible for the crime of theft
Following several reports and complaints filed by shopkeepers at the Punta di Ferro shopping centre, the Carabinieri have identified and reported 15 young people to the Public Prosecutor's Office as alleged perpetrators of aggravated theft.

In recent days i Carabinieri of the Ronco Station and of the Radiomobile Operations Unit of the Forlì Company, at the end of a series of investigations, have reported overall to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Forlì and at the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of Bologna, 15 young people, including 3 minors, as presumed responsible for competition for aggravated continued theft.
The military, following various reports and complaints presented by traders of the Punta di Ferro shopping centre, relating to illicit behaviors systematically carried out by different groups of young people, have set up specific observation services which have allowed for:
- to note that the authors were operating in small groups and they used to meet in a shopping center terrace, a place where they also consumed the food items that were taken from some commercial areas, thus dirtying the area and carrying out disrespectful behavior towards anyone who tried to take them back;
- surprise and identify several young people immediately after having stolen the stolen goods – most of them consisting of food and clothing then hidden in backpacks and under jackets – and passed the checkouts, where they were stopped by the soldiers who took care of recovering the goods to return them to the injured parties.
Furthermore, from their identification and comparison with the testimonies and images from the surveillance systems – which had immortalised other episodes that had occurred from last December to the first weeks of January – it was possible to trace it back to several subtractions occurred, from time to time, by some members of the group.
During the activities, one of the adults was also found in possession of 2 spray cans, used for deface the walls of buildings, an episode for which he was reported, as well as 1 dose of hashish, allegedly detained for personal use, administratively seized with notification to the Prefecture of Forlì.
