Forlì: 3 drivers reported for drunk driving and a young man for unjustified possession of a weapon
The Carabinieri of the Forlì Company have set up, in the territory of the capital, a targeted extraordinary control activity aimed at discouraging irregular conduct, particularly in relation to driving under the influence, or to combat dangerous conduct. The activities, carried out exclusively in the evening and night hours by the services of the Mobile Radio Unit and the city stations, have led to following results:
- three motorists (two men and a woman) were reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Forlì for "driving under the influence of alcohol" because, having been subjected to breathalyser tests provided by the mobile radio unit, they were found to have a blood alcohol level higher than the permitted threshold. Driving licenses have been withdrawn for the subsequent suspension (by the Prefecture of Forlì), two vehicles were entrusted to people fit to drive while the third was subjected to administrative seizure. One of the three drivers, who during the check offended the military officers, was also reported for "contempt of a public official";
- a young man, found in an altered state near a premises in the historic centre of Forlì, he was checked and found in possession of a medium-sized knife, which was later seized, for which he was reported for "unjustified possession of weapons and/or instruments capable of causing harm".
