Forlì, rAggravated assault in a supermarket: 23-year-old arrested by the Carabinieri

I Carabinieri of the Mobile Radio Section of the Forlì Company they arrested a 23enne of Libyan origin, believed to be alleged perpetrator of the crimes of aggravated robbery and resisting a public officialThe intervention took place in pomeriggio, following a report received by the Operations center which indicated a robbery in progress at a supermarket on Via Balzella, in Forlì.

Having arrived promptly on the scene, the soldiers collected the testimony of the owner of the commercial establishment, who reported having been the victim of a robbery by a young foreigner. The man, after having food and clothing items were stolen, deprived of the anti-shoplifting system, for a total value of approximately 70 €, once discovered would have threatened the owner with a pair of scissors, then fleeing with the stolen goods.

Thanks to detailed description provided by the victim and to the immediate research activity in neighboring streets, the Carabinieri managed to locate the suspect not far from the supermarket. At the sight of the soldiers, the 23-year-old attempted a further escape on foot, but coming reached and blocked. During the intervention phases, the man has one of the Carabinieri attacked, thus also configuring the crime of resistance to a public official. Subjected to personal search, was found in possession of theentire stolen goods, subsequently returned to the rightful owner.

Il Carabiniere attacked was transported to the Emergency Room at the Morgagni–Pierantoni Hospital in Forlì, where he was treated and discharged with some days of prognosis. At the end of the formalities of the rite, the 23-year-old was arrested and, at the disposal of the Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Court of Forlì, held in security rooms of the Carabinieri Command waiting for thevalidation hearing. The next day, the Judge of the Court of Forlì ha the arrest was validated, ordering the suspect to detention in prison.
