Forlì: 22-year-old offends and attacks the carabinieri, arrested.
The Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Forlì Company have arrested a young 22-year-old foreigner, a criminal, with no fixed abode in Italy, considered the presumed responsible for the crime of "resisting a public official", also reporting him for “refusal to provide information about one's personal identity” and for the violation of the “rights and obligations relating to residence”.
The soldiers, while passing through Piazza Saffi, noticed some young foreigners who, at the sight of the car radio, rushed away. Suspicious of that attitude, the patrol reached and stopped two of the young people who had fled and while they were proceeding to identify them, the carabinieri were approached by another foreign boy who, for no reason, began to offend the officers.
The young man, invited to remain calm and to give his personal details, continued in his defiant attitude with insults and threats to the soldiers, categorically refusing to provide his personal details or show his documents.
At this point the military were forced to block him, accompany him to the barracks for identification and proceed with his arrest for the crime of "resisting a public official" as well as reporting him for "refusal to provide information on his personal identity" and "rights and obligations relating to residence".
Even in the subsequent phases the subject continued his violent attitude without causing injuries to the soldiers who were barely able to contain him.
At the end of the formalities, the arrested person at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Forlì, was held in the security cell awaiting the validation of the arrest scheduled for the following morning.
