4 young people reported for receiving stolen goods and improper use of stolen cards in Santa Sofia

The Carabinieri of the Santa Sofia station have four people, aged between 18 and 30, were identified and reported, deemed presumed responsible for the crimes of "receiving stolen goods" and "improper use of payment cards". The operation was born following a theft from parked car, suffered by a resident of the area last January 31st, whose debit card and Postepay card had also been stolen. Thanks to timely reporting of the victim, and to the investigations carried out also through a careful analysis of the images from the surveillance cameras of one of the commercial establishments where the four had made purchases using the stolen cards, the military managed to identify all the suspects. The operation highlighted the effectiveness of the investigations coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Forlì and conducted by the Carabinieri of Santa Sofia, as well as the value of collaboration between citizens and law enforcement to ensure community safety.
