The Carabinieri of the Operational Section of the Forlì Company have reported two foreigners responsible for pickpocketing inside supermarkets in Romagna, the victims being elderly and defenseless people.
A man and a woman from Eastern Europe, raided the wallets of particularly vulnerable people, intent on shopping inside various supermarkets in Romagna, including Predappio, Castrocaro Terme, Faenza and Castel Bolognese.

The collaboration between the carabinieri of the Operational Section of the Forlì Company and some stations scattered throughout the territory made it possible to report the two authors to various judicial authorities.
The two, thoroughly organised, after having identified an elderly person or, in some cases, even one with obvious physical problems, robbed them of their wallets and in some cases, after having also found the PIN codes of their ATM cards inside. , they went to an ATM where they also withdrew large sums of cash.

A particular case is that of the supermarket in via Cappellolli in Faenza where an elderly man and an elderly woman were pickpocketed within less than a minute of each other by a young woman who, having collected the loot, walked away from the place aboard a large-engined car, driven by his accomplice.
Thanks to the synergy between the various territorial departments and the diligence of the supermarket management, it was possible to trace the perpetrators and the offended people.
One of these, seriously ill, who had given up on filing a complaint because she was unable to go to a police office, filed a formal complaint once contacted by the soldiers who went to her home.
The woman in particular appears to have already been reported over the years as a pickpocket in various parts of Italy.

The two were also reported for other thefts of the same caliber in other regions overlooking the Adriatic, only to be stopped days later for a theft inside the Castrocaro Terme supermarket, by a patrol from that station who had recognized them .
Throughout the provincial territory, the Carabinieri has focused its attention on these particularly insidious crimes, committed above all against the so-called "particularly vulnerable groups", who are also the subject of various scams, which must be constantly monitored and fought.
