Rufina: Murder of a young woman. Her partner under house arrest after attempted suicide

In the afternoon of 24 March, Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command from Florence and Pontassieve Company, have submitted to the arrest un 37 year old Italian man held responsible for themurder of the own mate, which took place at Rufina on February 8.

The man, after the serious crime, he had attempted to take his own life jumping off a terrace, suffering very serious injuries.

The precautionary measure was ordered by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Florence, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office itself, which has coordinated the entire investigative activity since the first phases.

Il precautionary measure it became necessary following the progressive improvement in health conditions of the same and for the risk of repetition of the crime, although the same must continue to receive specific health and rehabilitation care, which have made it necessary to apply the specific measurement at a suitable healthcare facility.
