Emilia-Romagna: €700 for the social and work inclusion of young people in criminal justice.

La Regional Council of Emilia-Romagna approves a new call for proposals dedicated to the socio-occupational inclusion of minors and young adults between 14 and 25 years old subjected to criminal proceedings and in charge of the Juvenile Justice Center.

The initiative, supported by 700 thousand euros of European resources of the PR FSE Plus, aims to promote growth, orientation, and training paths, with the ultimate goal of facilitating entry or re-entry into the world of work.

"We continue our commitment to building pathways that offer real growth opportunities and a better life prospect to young people involved in criminal proceedings." declare the vice president Vincent Colla (Training) and the councilor Isabella Conti (Welfare and Child Policies).

The call aims to support the development of skills, personal competences, active participation and processes of social and professional autonomy.

The objectives of the call

The selected interventions must: Promote inclusion and active participation; combat discrimination and inequality of access; increase the employability of vulnerable young people; support social and occupational reintegration; assist young people in returning to education and training; and provide personalized activities based on individual characteristics.

Particular attention should be paid to the construction of skills useful for social innovation processes and delivery models inclusive and intercultural.

Types of fundable interventions

Accredited bodies will be able to propose: specialist orientationtraining laboratory courses for young people held in the juvenile penal institution of Bologna; individual accompanimentshort training and internships for youths in external penal areas; personalized measures tailored to the specific needs of the recipients.

Entities and individuals in Emilia-Romagna accredited for training for access to continuous and permanent employment, and in possession of the additional requirements for activities aimed at fragile, vulnerable or disabled young people, may submit proposals.

The deadline for submission is set at 12:00 on 20 January 2026.
