Scoglitti: Seven employees without contracts and two irregulars in the territory, agricultural company activity suspended

The Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Ragusa continue their activity of combating crimes in general without interruption, with particular attention to violations of the rules on irregular work, also with the use of military personnel from the “Sicilia” Helicopter Squadron specifically trained for reconnaissance activities.

In particular, the military personnel of the Scoglitti Carabinieri Station, during the territorial control service, they proceeded to the farm audit owned by KA, Albanian cl.85.

Having gained access to the company, the military found the presence of n.7 people engaged in the performance of work activities, therefore they deepened the investigations by verifying their respective work positions. The outcome of the checks revealed that the 7 people had been employed in the absence of a regular employment contract, 2 of whom were found to be illegal foreigners on Italian territory.

The military, having completed the investigations, proceeded first against the 2 irregular aliens according to the procedures established by immigration law and, subsequently, accompanied KA to their offices for the formal procedures.

Once the formalities were completed, the Carabinieri reported the owner of the agricultural company to the Judicial Authority at liberty for employing illegal aliens in the work force, and also raised the required fines against him. administrative penalties and the Territorial Labor Inspectorate of Ragusa was involved in the assessments of its competence in this regard to the application of the sanction of suspension of activity.
