Ragusa: Carabinieri report two people for theft and receiving stolen goods.

The controls of the territory of the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Ragusa continue without stopping, with activities to combat crimes against property.

In particular, in recent days, the Carabinieri of the Ragusa Principale Station, following a rapid investigation, managed to trace the identity of a person believed to be responsible for the theft committed on the afternoon of July 2nd to the detriment of a commercial establishment in Via Roma, in the historic center of Ragusa.

In particular, after the theft, the owner of the business had formalized the complaint and therefore the Carabinieri, after having viewed the video surveillance footage present in the area, identified the alleged perpetrator who was reported at liberty to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ragusa.

In addition to the latter, the buyer of part of the stolen goods consisting of a mobile phone which was recovered and returned to the owner was identified and reported for receiving stolen goods.
The Carabinieri of the Ragusa Principale Station have also reported at liberty an Italian citizen held responsible for repeated episodes of theft of jewels and costume jewelry perpetrated against his ex-spouse for a value of over 2.000 euros.

In the circumstance he was also reported for not having paid maintenance to his daughter.
