At the end of a detailed investigation, the Carabinieri of the Marina di Ragusa station handed over two Vittoria men aged twenty-eight and twenty-three to the Judicial Authority in a state of freedom for home burglary and attempted theft in a commercial establishment.
The story dates back to the night of last August 8, when the two men from Vittoria broke into two houses located in Marina di Ragusa, respectively removing a mountain bike from the first and an electric scooter from the second, and then moving to the center of the seaside village near a well-known restaurant to try in vain to force the entrance door to get inside.
The complaints filed with the Marina Carabinieri kicked off the investigations: the military, thanks to the analysis of the footage recovered from the video surveillance cameras in the area of the affected homes and those of the restaurant, managed to identify those responsible, identify them and connect the three episodes between them. The couple was thus reported to the Judicial Authority for the crimes of continuous home burglary and attempted aggravated burglary.
