Ragusa, 39-year-old arrested for crimes against the person and property.

Carabinieri track down person responsible for crimes against persons and property: arrested in execution of an order to serve a prison sentence.

The Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Ragusa continues its activity of combating crimes against the person and property without stopping, also in order to guarantee the correct execution of the measures adopted by the Judicial Authority.

In particular, on the morning of the 18th, the military personnel of the Vittoria Carabinieri Station executed an Order of Expiation of a prison sentence, issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ragusa - Criminal Enforcement Office, against a citizen of Gela identified as GC, cl.84, already subjected to house arrest.

The measure carried out originates from crimes against the person and property committed by the man from 2019 to 2021 and committed in the Municipality of Vittoria.
The military, after receiving the judicial order, tracked down GC at his home and, after having fully identified him, arrested him and took him to their offices to notify him of the execution order issued by the Judicial Authority.

Once the formal procedures were completed, the man was then transferred to the Ragusa prison where he will be held to serve the remaining sentence of 9 years and 2 days in prison.
