Ragusa, 24-year-old reported for attempted theft and damage
A young Moroccan man attempted to enter a tunnel by breaking a glass window, but was identified and stopped by the Carabinieri.

The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of the Ragusa Company, on the evening of Sunday 22 September, during the performance of a specifically prepared service, aimed at preventing and repressing thefts in homes and to the detriment of commercial establishments, reported at liberty a 24-year-old of Moroccan origins, responsible for the attempted theft inside a premises, for damaging the same and for resisting a Public Official.
The report to the Operations Center of the Arma came from an employee of the neighboring Prefecture, who during the evening had heard suspicious noises coming from the Galleria Maione; there, in fact, the 24-year-old had attempted to shatter a glass window, by throwing a large boulder, in order to enter the tunnel.
The Carabinieri patrol intervened immediately, thanks to the description of some witnesses, and was able to identify the perpetrator, who in the meantime had fled. Shortly after, he was intercepted inside an underground parking lot, hidden under a car and, during the arrest operations, he resisted the intervention of the military, hitting them with kicks and pushes.
Escorted to the offices, the young man was fully identified and it emerged that his position was already burdened by a probation order.
Reported at liberty to the Iblea Judicial Authority, the 24-year-old will have to answer for the crimes of damage, attempted theft and violation of the obligations imposed by the provision.
