Deadly brawl in Santa Croce Camerina, Ragusa: Carabinieri arrest 3 more Tunisians
Pre-trial detention in prison for another 3 Tunisians and confirmation of the arrest for the first 3.
Santa Croce Camerina, Ragusa: Carabinieri arrest 3 people for murder.
Following the preliminary hearings at the Ragusa prison, 3 Tunisians reached last Sunday by an arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecutor on duty in relation to the brawl during which a 21 year old fellow countryman of theirs was killed, the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Ibleo Court has fully validated the provision and issued, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, an order of precautionary custody in prison against three more Tunisians, respectively two 35 year olds and a 26 year old, also involved in the brawl Saturday 7th September, in the historic centre of Santa Croce Camrina, during the celebrations of Santa Rosalia.
The three were tracked down and arrested on the evening of September 12, by Carabinieri of the Ragusa Company following a timely research activity.
The incessant development of the investigations has allowed us to find evidence against them serious, precise and consistent evidence of guilt for the brawl that sadly resulted in the death of the 21-year-old.
The three, taken to prison by the military, will therefore have to answer for the crimes of aggravated brawl, personal injury and illegal possession of instruments capable of causing harm.
