Scicli: abuse of spouse, 49-year-old arrested.

The soldiers of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Modica Company arrested a 49-year-old Albanian, resident in the baroque city, married, worker and with no criminal record, for the crimes of family mistreatment and personal injury.

The report was received by the operators following a request for intervention to Nue112 by the couple's daughter, a young girl who had just turned XNUMX.

The Operations Center promptly sent a patrol from the Radiomobile Unit of the Modica Company to the site which, on patrol duty in the area of ​​competence, went to the house of interest, located in the Sciclita countryside, and found clear signs of violence that the woman had previously suffered and which required treatment from the Modica emergency room staff.

The spark that generated these violent attacks on the part of the man was the strong jealousy towards the woman, who could not even maintain telephone contact of a professional nature with her employer.

The threats continued even upon the arrival of the military and during the execution of the ritual formalities.

The episode is only the culmination of an attitude of oppression that the woman has recently had to suffer from her partner, who had already become the protagonist of episodes of both verbal and physical violence.

Following these events, the Judicial Authority was informed and ordered the arrest of the subject and his transfer to the Ragusa prison.

Once again, the harassment and violence perpetrated within the home were stopped thanks to the intervention of the Modica Army personnel, always attentive to the problems relating to mistreatment and episodes of stalking, phenomena which have become commonplace day and against whom there is careful surveillance, in order to stamp out this wave of family violence.
