Comiso: Woman arrested for repeated violations of the prohibition on approaching an elderly person.

Il Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Ragusa continues in the activity of combating domestic violence crimes, to protect the victims, family members or cohabitants of the alleged perpetrators.

In particular, i Carabinieri of the Comiso Station They intervened following a request for help received from a elderly victim of family abuse, which reported repeated violations by a woman who was already the recipient of the prohibition order to approach. Despite the precautionary measure, the woman continued to frequent the man's home and mistreat him.

• The prohibition on approach had been ordered last December by the GIP of the Ragusa Court, following a complaint from the elderly man for the crimes of robbery, theft, injury and mistreatment in the family.

The soldiers, who arrived promptly on the scene, found the woman, a thirty-four year old from Ragusa, who tried in vain to justify his presence.

Considering that the flagrant crime , persistent violation of the provision issued to protect the elderly, the Carabinieri took her to their offices.

• After the ritual formalities, the woman – without prejudice to the presumption of innocence – she was arrested for violation of the prohibition on approaching the injured party and transferred to the Ragusa Prison, where it will remain at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
