Ragusa: woman robbed of her purse and car, perpetrator identified and arrested.

The activity to combat crimes against property of the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Ragusa continues unabated.

In particular, the military personnel of the Comiso Carabinieri Station executed an order for the application of the precautionary measure of house arrest, issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ragusa, against a Tunisian citizen identified in MO, cl.98.
The measure taken stems from the robbery committed in May against a young woman who was robbed of her handbag and car.

The victim, after having made the man get into the car, was violently attacked by the latter who managed to make her get out of the car and then fled.

The Carabinieri who intervened immediately managed to track down the car abandoned by the man and thus returned it to the victim.
Complex investigative activities subsequently developed by the Carabinieri allowed them to identify the perpetrator of the crime in the Tunisian citizen and request the Judicial Authority to take appropriate precautionary measures to contain his conduct.

The military tracked down the man on board his car while he was passing through the territory of Comiso and, after having fully identified him, arrested him and took him to their offices to notify him of the Order issued by the Judicial Authority.
Once the formal procedures were completed, the man was taken to his home and placed under house arrest where he will remain at the disposal of the Judicial Authorities.
