Pozzallo: the man who set fire to the deputy mayor's maritime agency has been arrested.

At the beginning of last week the soldiers of the Pozzallo station implemented a provision to aggravate the precautionary measure of the ban on approaching the places frequented by the offended person against LB, a 48-year-old resident of the seaside city, unmarried and with numerous police prejudices to load.

The measure, issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations at the Court of Ragusa, arose following the repeated persecutory conduct carried out against his victim which continued over time, so much so as to force her to live in a state of anxiety and to alter her lifestyle habits.

Furthermore, the social danger of the person of interest reached the most acute and serious level with the commission of the crime by fire against the offices of the maritime shipping agency "SR Shipping Srl" in Contrada Fargione of the ASI Management Centre, of of which the councilor and deputy mayor of the municipality of Pozzallo is the sole director.

For this whole series of reasons and following the findings obtained by the Carabinieri Station of Pozzallo, responsible for the territory, a request was proposed to aggravate the precautionary measure in place.

The Judicial Authority, based on the information collected, immediately responded to this request, which is why house arrest was ordered for the man. Therefore, yet another episode of violence which occurred against a local agency, which carries out a service of public interest, was promptly discovered, as was the perpetrator who was brought to justice.
