Modica (Ragusa), 37-year-old evades house arrest and 56-year-old convicted of brawling: 2 arrests by the Carabinieri.

Over the course of the last week the Carabinieri of the Tenenza of Scicli followed up on two execution orders, issued by the Court of Ragusa, against a local 37-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, known to the police for his police prejudices, already subjected to the house arrest regime and against a 56-year-old, unemployed, also with police prejudices against him.

The provision regarding the first subject of operational interest arises following the complaint that the soldiers of the proceeding Department forwarded to the Judicial Authority in recent weeks following theleaving one's home, without any authorization, in order to go to a supermarket and verbally harassing a customer, an employee, as well as the father of the owner of the business.

The violation has highlighted the impossibility of keeping the measure of house arrest active, since significant elements have emerged for which the competent Prosecutor's Office has deemed it necessary to resort to the regime of precautionary custody in prison, pending the next hearing to be held in June. Once the formalities have been completed, the interested party was taken to the Ragusa prison.

The second subject was the recipient of a sentence expiation measure equal to a period of three months, which he will have to serve at his home, following a fight occurred years ago. Also in this case, the Army's operational tool allowed the Prosecutor's Office to have at its disposal a range of elements capable of supporting the requests for the measures in place.
