The managers of a local company have reported having been scammed through a fake email that had led to the payment of a salary on an IBAN different from that of the real recipient. In particular, the administrative office staff of the company received an email that seemed to come from an employee of the company, who asked to have his salary credited to a new IBAN.

And the offices took action accordingly, without realizing anything. And once the employee in question was contacted, he declared that he had not sent any email and that he had not received the two salaries, which were actually credited to another account. The military started the investigations, acquiring the fake email and the reference IBAN, acquiring the data of the connected current account and discovering that it had been opened by the 18-year-old. And the transactions in question were present on the account, of several thousand, namely the crediting of the two salaries not received by the employee.

Therefore, the 18-year-old account holder into which the sums had been paid was reported to the Judicial Authority.
