Vailate: after a chase, the Carabinieri of the Crema Radiomobile Unit reported a man believed to be responsible for resisting a public official, two other men managed to escape.

The intensification of controls in the territory of competence by the Carabinieri of the Cremona Company, in order to implement in an increasingly effective manner the action of prevention and contrast to widespread illegal phenomena such as drug dealing and predatory crimes, has led to a new positive result.

In fact, the Carabinieri of the Crema Radiomobile Unit reported a 23-year-old man, resident in the province of, for resisting a public official. Milano, also fined for violations of the highway code committed, while two other men managed to escape. They probably wanted to commit thefts in homes or commercial activities, but were intercepted by the Carabinieri before they could act.

The Carabinieri of the Crema Radiomobile were in Vailate at the intersection between the SP 2 and the SP 185 and the soldiers noticed a suspicious car travelling in the direction of Caravaggio, with three people on board.

The military ordered a stop, but the driver, without a valid reason, began to accelerate and the vehicle reached the town of Misano Gera d'Adda (BG) at full speed.

And in that municipality, the vehicle got stuck at an intersection in the middle of traffic, interrupting the escape. The vehicle stopped and the three got out of their vehicle and started running in different directions.

The soldiers got out of the service car and reached and stopped the driver of the fleeing vehicle who, in the meantime, had traveled a few dozen meters, while the other two managed to escape and even subsequent searches did not allow them to be found. The man, identified as the 23-year-old, and his vehicle, which turned out to be rented, were searched without finding anything useful.

He was reported for resisting a public official for having carried out dangerous and risky maneuvers during the escape by car. The man was also issued with traffic violations fines following the infractions committed.
