Cremona: the Carabinieri of Casalbuttano ed Uniti intercept a car with three men on board that does not stop at a checkpoint and the chase begins.

The Carabinieri of the Cremona Mobile Radio Section and the Casalbuttano ed Uniti Station, during a service aimed at preventing and repressing thefts through surveillance of urban centers and along the main communication arteries, identified and chased a suspicious car.

The patrols that were carrying out a service aimed at specific checks for the prevention and repression of crimes against property against homes located in the outskirts of the city noticed a large-engined car with two people who, at the sight of the service cars, climbed aboard the vehicle and fled.

Obviously, the suspicious soldiers started chasing the car which was proceeding at high speed, taking Via Bergamo and then the SS 498 towards Castelverde and subsequently the SP 86 towards Bordolano.

The driver of the car accelerated to escape control, carried out risky overtaking maneuvers and disappeared after the town of Bordolano, in the direction of the neighboring province of Brescia.

Subsequent investigations revealed that the criminals had attempted a burglary but were discovered and put to flight by the military on duty.

The license plate of the vehicle used by the thieves was found to be cloned.

Video surveillance footage from the area is currently being reviewed to identify those responsible.
It is important to remember that you should always call 112 for suspicious people and cars that are noticed wandering around homes in order to allow immediate intervention by patrols operating in the area to combat predatory crimes.
