A 52-year-old man was arrested by the Carabinieri of Cremona for violating a restraining order imposed on his ex-wife and minor son. Despite the restrictive measure, the man decided to go near the school attended by his son, carrying out a behavior that aroused concern and alarm among those present.

In the early morning of January 9th, the operations centre of the Carabinieri of Cremona has received a signal from the electronic bracelet worn by the man, which detected his presence in the immediate vicinity of the injured persons. At the same time, the school staff, having noticed his presence at the entrance of the institute, promptly alerted the police, worried about the possible consequences deriving from the violation of the restrictive measure.

The Carabinieri intervened immediately, but when they arrived on the scene, the man had already left. Thanks to the rapid investigative action and effective coordination, the military managed to track him down in his home. The man was arrested red-handed and held in the holding cells of the Santa Lucia barracks.

On the morning of January 10, the arrest was validated and the man was released. The judge confirmed the precautionary measures he had previously had against him and postponed the decision to the hearing on June 6.

This episode highlighted the effectiveness of the electronic monitoring system, which allowed for the timely detection of the violation, and the readiness of the school staff, who were able to react promptly to ensure the safety of students and staff.
