Cremona: riots before the match between Pergolettese and Mantova. 15 ultras identified who had violent behavior and actively resisted the officers on duty.

The Police Chief of the Province of Cremona issued a warning in recent days 15 DASPO. against the same number fans of the Mantua football team. The measures were adopted on the basis of the events that occurred on March 9th during the match between Pergolettese and Mantova, teams playing in Serie C Lega Pro, scheduled for 16.00 pm on that day.

Specifically, in the phases preceding the aforementioned football match, at around 13.30 pm, a large group of Mantova supporters made up of almost 40 people, mostly with their faces distorted by hats or scarves and almost all with dark/black clothing, which cohesively headed towards the city center.

The group of fans, belonging to the ultras category, reported by the local police thanks to the direct viewing of images from city surveillance cameras, he was immediately intercepted by personnel of the State Police and the Local Police of Crema outside the station.

The fans expressed their desire to head towards the city center rather than the stadium, a hypothesis not permitted by the police who instead directed the group towards the sports facility to avoid the risk of contact with the local fans - their ill-concealed intent was precisely to seek contact and clash with the local ultras.

But during the phases of the route established by the police to avoid critical issues and problems of public order and safety, the group attempted a detour, at the height of Via Mercato at the intersection of Via Monte di Pietà, where some supporters could be glimpsed about 200 meters away. of Pergolettese. They began invectives with offensive chants, insults and shouts with explicit invitations to clash. The police personnel contained the fans and in these phases there were behaviors of resistance and active violence by numerous Mantova fans against the police officers deployed there. Some fans took off their seatbelts to use them trying to overcome the cordon placed between the opposing fans avoiding the clash.

With the aforementioned 15 measures, bans were imposed for a total of 37 years, of which 20 required signatures.
