I Carabinieri of the Cremona Company, supported by the specialized unit of the Dog Unit of Orio al Serio (BG), in the morning of Wednesday 18 December 2024 They carried out an extraordinary service of control of the territory of the city of Cremona in order to prevent and repress illicit conduct relating to the use or dealing of narcotic substances.

During the service carried out in the morning and early afternoon, the following were checked: public parking such as tram station, the underground parking lots of some supermarkets in the city and inspected two educational establishments. The check, carried out inside the institutes in agreement with the school principals, allowed the daily activity carried out by the Carabinieri to be brought also inside the high schools of the province of Cremona as well as an important message institutional and socio-educational.

The initiative received the applause of managers and teachers, in view of the prevention and to raise awareness of the phenomenon in favor of students and to discourage drug consumption or dealing in schools. The control was carried out not only inside the schools but also in the immediate vicinity of the same, all to guarantee the safety and protection of the areas frequented by young people and very young people.

The activity saw the protagonist as dog named “Gina”, example of two year old labrador, accompanied by its host, capturing the attention of the curious young students, who asked numerous questions about the training and its use.
