Cremona: Checkpoints, surveillance and inspections, two public places fined

The Carabinieri of the Cremona Company conducted a coordinated control service extraordinary event that involved the capital, with the use of various patrols from the Stations, the Radiomobile Section and the Operational Section of Cremona and with the support of the NAS of Cremona.

The objectives of the service were the protection of public order and safety through the prevention and fight against crimes and antisocial conduct. From 07.00 to 13.00, also on the occasion of the arrival of numerous buses of students going to school, the patrols checked the streets and squares, also carrying out some checkpoints. In particular, via Dante, the Piazzale delle Tranvie, the shopping centers were the object of surveillance. Overall, 50 people were identified and checks were conducted on 12 vehicles.

In the covered parking lot on Via Dante two young people were found in possession of hashish, which was seized, and both were reported to the Prefecture. The NAS, with the support of patrols, inspected two public places, a bar and a restaurant, in order to carry out health checks.

Both were administratively sanctioned for hygienic, sanitary and structural deficiencies and for the presence of premises used for purposes other than those intended, also imposing adaptation requirements.
