Cream: one person reported for cocaine dealing and two reported to the Prefecture as drug users.
The fight against drug dealing in Crema by the Compagnia's Carabinieri continues continuously, with a new anti-drug action carried out on the afternoon of 5 April.
The soldiers of the Operational Division reported a 41-year-old man, domiciled in the province of Bergamo. The man was arrested after having made two sales of cocaine to a 30-year-old and a 49-year-old, reported to the Prefecture as consumers, seizing the narcotic and the money that the 41-year-old had in his pockets and believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
The service was set up on the afternoon of April 5th when the soldiers, in civilian clothes, learned of a man who was making home deliveries of drugs in a car. And yesterday afternoon they had it intercepted as he arrived from the Bergamo area. They followed him to the Ricengo cemetery where, at 15.30 pm, they noticed that the car with the 41-year-old on board approached another vehicle that was on the spot and There was an exchange between windows.
They followed the buyer's car and stopped it shortly after, verifying that he had purchased a dose of cocaine. The drugs were seized and the man, a 30-year-old, was reported to the Prefecture. They then followed the 41-year-old again for observe his movements and to ascertain other drug sales. And they saw him stop at Castel Gabbiano where a man was waiting for him on the street. There was a quick exchange and then everyone went off on their own.
The military intervened and stopped the buyer, a 49-year-old, who was found in possession of four doses of cocaine he had just purchased and was reported to the Prefecture as a user.
At that point, the man driving the car was reached by the Crema Radiomobile patrols, was stopped and was identified as the 41-year-old. Was searched and, in his pockets, the sum of over 500 euros was found, seized because it was believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing. Subsequently, his home in the province of Bergamo was searched, but nothing else was found. At the end of the investigations, the 41-year-old was reported for cocaine dealing.
Furthermore, on the evening of Friday 5 April, the Carabinieri of the Crema Company organized and carried out a new coordinated service in Crema, Monte Cremasco and Pandino, which saw the use of five Carabinieri patrols. The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile and the stations of Crema, Pandino, Romanengo and Rivolta d'Adda participated.
The objective of this service was to safeguard public safety not only from a repressive point of view, but also from a preventive one in order to avoid episodes of disturbance. From the 18.00 24.00 yesterday evening, the patrols continuously checked the streets, squares, green areas and meeting places of Crema, Pandino and Monte Cremasco, also carrying out numerous check posts in the nerve points and in the main thoroughfares of the area, also carrying out flying checks on cars with suspicious people on board.
94 people were identified, of which 20 had police records against them, and by carrying out checks on 39 vehicles and a public place, identifying all customers. In particular, a man was administratively sanctioned because he was found driving a car, owned by his wife, already subjected to administrative tax detention.
