Castelleone: 37-year-old irregular immigrant expelled with escort to Malpensa air border.

On the morning of January 2, the Carabinieri of Castelleone received news of a probable illegal occupation of an Aler accommodation, assigned to a man who had allegedly hosted other people illegally. Inside, the Carabinieri found the 37enne and a woman, who reported having been temporarily hosted by the accommodation assignee. From a database check, the man was found to be already rejected in 2017 at an Italian airport because he was not authorized to enter the national territory. Subsequently, however, he managed to return to Italy without a title that would allow him to remain legally.

For this reason, he was taken to the Carabinieri barracks of Castelleone, where the procedures for his expulsion have been initiated with the support of theImmigration Office of the Cremona Police Headquarters.

Having assessed the situation, the Prefect of Cremona has decreed the expulsion from the national territory. Consequently, the Police Chief of Cremona he carried out the measure, arranging for the escort to the Malpensa air border and requesting the Justice of the Peace of Cremona the validation of the expulsion.

After a night spent in the barracks, the man was accompanied by the Carabinieri of Castelleone to thevalidation hearing in front of the Justice of the Peace of Cremona and, immediately afterwards, at the departure terminal of theMalpensa International Airport, where he was entrusted to the agents of the Polaria, who escorted him to the plane for immediate repatriation to Albania.
