Casalmaggiore: Without authorization he moves his seized motorcycle from its place of custody, reported

The Carabinieri of the Casalmaggiore Radiomobile Unit reported a 26-year-old man with a criminal record for theft of seized property.

At the beginning of February, a patrol of the Casalmaggiore Radiomobile went to a house with the intention of checking that a motorcycle, seized in September 2023 because it did not have insurance coverage and entrusted to the owner, was still in that place, as established following the administrative provision.

The soldiers entered the house in question, asking to see the motorcycle and learning that it had been moved for some months. Therefore, they were able to reconstruct what had happened, namely that the motorcycle had been loaded onto a van and taken to a warehouse outside the province, without any prior authorization from the person who had carried out the seizure.

Considering that the man was supposed to keep it in the indicated place, he was reported for having stolen a property subject to seizure. In the meantime, the Prefecture of Cremona ordered the confiscation of the motorcycle which was recovered and taken to a contracted storage facility.
