Casalbuttano ed Uniti (Cremona), copper cables and a pneumatic hammer from an excavator are stolen from a company. The five responsible have been reported for aggravated theft

At the end of a prolonged investigation, the Carabinieri of the Casalbuttano ed Uniti Station reported five people aged between 47 and 18, all with previous police records, believed to be responsible for a theft committed inside a well-known local company.

The facts date back to the night of last April 21st when the military received the director of the plant who reported the large theft of copper cables and a pneumatic hammer from an excavator, a criminal event that occurred after breaking into the entrance gate.

During the investigation, video surveillance footage of the company and the surrounding area was acquired and analyzed, collecting a series of elements that directed suspicions towards the criminal group that operated using a van to transport the stolen goods.. The identification of the vehicle itself has allowed, with the various testimonies acquired, to identify with certainty those responsible, all burdened by specific precedents.

The positive outcome of the operation is also a direct consequence of the solid institutional collaboration initiated by the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Cremona with the companies present in the province on the topic of prevention and fight against predatory crimes as well as the methods of protection and forms of passive security to be adopted for production activities, which as in this circumstance were fundamental for the resolution of the case.
